We're all thankful for a sale!

Moving and 381 Mida Lane Giveaway Winner

Fuzzy Monkey Felted Bowls

Gasp! Gray hairs!

Yes, those are gray hairs you're looking at.  I started noticing them when I was 15 or 16, but now, ten years later, they're everywhere!  Should I give in and start coloring my hair or just leave it?

I'm hoping a get a bunch in the front like Stacy London from What Not to Wear on TLC. That wouldn't be so bad.  If it's going to happen naturally, it might as well do something cool and look like her hair...

By the way, do any of you know if hers is natural?  I'm sure it's not, but just looking at it makes me feel a little better about graying at 25.  :)

Shiver

From the moment I started reading Shiver, I was hooked (I literally could not put the book down).  It's a love story about Grace, a teenage girl who was attacked by wolves when she was a child, and Sam, the werewolf who saved her life. I know you're probably rolling your eyes, thinking, "Not another werewolf story!" but this one is awesome.  I don't want to go into too much detail, so just trust me when I say you need to read it.  Maggie Stiefvater is a fantastic writer, it felt like I was in the story and left me breathless at the end.  I bought the second book a few days ago and can't wait to start reading!  So go get a copy and let me know what you think when you're finished :)

Front Page, Yeah!

Guess who's Halloween treasury made it to the front page of Etsy on Monday? Mine! I didn't even send out emails to the people I featured, and my treasury still got picked! How cool is that?! Well, here's a peek at what it looked like.

I've been watching a lot of "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC and have come to the decision that if I were to get married to Chris all over again, I'd wear this dress...

it's a Claire Pettibone dress and I'm in love with it.  I loved my wedding dress when I got married (and I still love it), this one is just awesome as well. I've always wanted to wear flowy skirts, flowers in my hair, and walk barefoot everywhere and this dress is that. So because I'm already married, I need to figure out another event that I can wear this to (maybe for our 5 or 10 year anniversary???)

Beautiful Paper Art

I'm really into paper crafting right now and so I made this treasury to feature some of my favorites made by other Etsy sellers. Aren't they beautiful? Make sure you leave a comment on the treasury and maybe it'll make it to the front page! :)

Blog Design and Lip Gloss

What do you guys think of the new blog design? I decided that it was time for a change and this is what I came up with. I'm in love with my header! It's so awesome! :) 

Speaking of awesome-ness, check out my new lip gloss! I went to the mall with my brother on Friday and I got the girls at Bare Escentuals to do my makeup! I was a Bare Escentuals virgin and after hearing amazing things about it, I was curious and had to try it. It was an amazing experience and ended up buying a Dolly Buxom Lips: Lip Plumper

 I love what it does to my lips!

When I put it on, it feels like I'm rubbing an ice cube on my lips (some plumpers hurt or tingle uncomfortably but this one was nice). I think my lips looked fuller...

I'm not usually a huge lipstick or lip-gloss person but I think I'll wear this stuff almost every day now :) It was the best $18 I've ever spent (on makeup).

What's your favorite beauty product? By the way, do any of you know where I can get a good deal on a Bare Escentuals starter kit? No amount of justifying can make me spend $60 on one at Nordstrom.

Chris got me a new laptop for our anniversary (he's so awesome!) and I need a laptop sleeve! I really don't want to get some random black one at the store so I think I'm going to make an adorable one like this.  I'm not a huge fan of the flower on it but I love the gathered fabric going around the middle. What do you guys think? Have you ever made something like this?
